Hospital Mãe de Deus has been operating since 1979, offering complete solutions in health, diagnosis and treatment, with a focus on humanized, safe and centralized care in the resolution of each case. Excellence, proximity and care for the patient and the constant modernization of services are the institution’s guidelines.

A reference in highly complex medical-hospital care, the Mãe de Deus Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI), the largest and oldest health quality and safety verification agency in the world. Since 2012, the Hospital has maintained this accreditation, which is evaluated every three years. Worldwide, 660 hospitals are accredited and, in Brazil, 36 institutions, among which only 40% have the same accreditation maturity stage as Hospital Mãe de Deus (three or more accreditations).

To better serve patients, it has a structure of 327 active beds, a built area of ​​approximately 55,000 m², where 2,000 advanced technology equipment is concentrated, a team of highly qualified professionals with clinical experience, trained by more than 2,300 accredited physicians.

In addition, various facilities are offered through Hospitalar Hospitalar, Customer Relationship Center, religious support service provided by the Sisters of Pastoral da Saúde, and conveniences such as restaurant, cafeteria, gift shop, pharmacy, beauty salon, cashier electronic, Unimed authorization station and parking by the access to Rua Costa, all inside the Hospital for all who feel welcomed and comfortable.

The Mother of God Hospital is maintained by the philanthropic institution Associação Educadora São Carlos, of the Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of São Carlos Borromeo Scalabrinianas.
