Hospital La Catolica

Hospital La Católica opened its doors on March 16, 1963 as a new alternative in private medicine. This initiative was in charge of a group of nuns from the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Conception and doctors, identified with the well-being of Costa Ricans. Over time, the Hospital distinguished itself for its unique care and commitment to the health and life of each of its patients.

Today, continuous improvement is reflected in the modernization of its infrastructure and the inauguration of new surgery rooms and offices, always in search of maximum satisfaction for both the patient and his companions in a new concept in comfort and hotel. Hospital La Católica is made up of more than 800 people committed to providing comprehensive health care of excellent quality, based on human principles and values.

For this and many reasons, it will continue to focus on offering a better service every day, hand in hand with advances in medical technology, opening new specialties that allow it to continue to remain a great world-class Hospital.
